EOHR calls for the trial of the responsible of the Bani Swaif disaster

EOHR expresses its denouncement to the fire of Bani Swaif Theatre, and calling for an immediate trial to the responsible of this shocking disaster and announcing the results of the investigations to the public.
EOHR confirms that the reasons behind this disaster are carelessness and mal-administration, which is the same in the case of the train fire in 2000. EOHR unites with all intellectuals, writers, novelists and artists who presented a report to the Prosecutor General demanding Ministries of Interiors, Health and Culture to take full measures to prevent such disasters from happening once again, where innocents pay a high price. These measures should provide human and financial elements to deal with any future situations, and providing all means of safety and protection in culture centers especially those in cities and regions outside Cairo to save the lives of its audiences. Government should try all those who will prove to be responsible for accident and should be dismissed from their positions and the next summit of the Cairo Festival for Experimental Theater should be entitled " Victims of the Egyptian Theater of Bani Swaif Summit"
