The Egyptian Organization holds a workshop concerning the crimes committed against humanity in Gaza Strip and West Bank

EOHR will hold a workshop entitled “The crimes committed against humanity in Gaza Strip and West Bank “ on 11/3/2008 at 7:00 pm . This workshop will include the following speakers :
- Mr. Ragi El Sorany – chairman of the Palestinian Center For Human Rights .
- Mr. Ahmed Seif El Islam , chairman of Hesham Mubarak For Legal Professions
- Dr. Diaa rashwan , expert at El Ahram Center For Strategic Studies
- Dr. Abdullah mash’al , professor of the international law .
- Dr. Emad Gad expert at El Ahram Center For Strategic Studies.
The workshop will include a group of opinion leaders ,professors of universities ,members of people’s assembly and Shura council , partisan leaders , political forces and civil society activists.
Mr. Hafez Abu Seada ,Secretary general of the Egyptian organization for human rights , clarified that the workshop mentioned above aims at discussing several core issues such as : Firstly, the latest escalation of Israel in Gaza Strip and the bad consequences and repercussions occurred against Palestinian civilians in the occupied territories .Secondly , the living conditions in Gaza strip and West Bank under Israeli inhuman practices against the Palestinian people like communal detention , targeting innocent of women , children and old men ,starvation , random shelling for cities and villages , constructing apartheid wall , and assassination process for Palestinians resistance individuals . Thirdly , Israeli crimes in the Palestinian territories which are considered a clear violation against the international law and
The international covenants for human rights . Fourthly , the possibility for forming an international criminal court to prosecute Israelians as a warfare criminals in the fact of what they committed against the human rights of Palestinian and Lebanese people and other crimes committed before like killing Egyptian prisoners of law in 1956 and 1967 besides, Sabra and Shatila massacres in 1982 , and what is the road that should be adopted by the regional and international assemblies to form an international criminal court to prosecute Israelians as a war criminals .Fifthly , the possibility for activating the Arabian and international role in the light of the continued crimes against humanity committed by Israel against unarmed Palestinians .
